Welcome to anger management. Your counselor/facilitator is here to help you decrease episodes of anger and aggressive behavior. If you want to get the most out of this program, you need to be honest with yourself and deal with the underlying issues that led you to this class. This program is not designed to attack you. It is designed to help you. Our goal is to deliver information that will help you examine your life and evaluate your choices so you may be a happier, healthier, human being. Class objectives ✔ To help you manage and control your response to anger. ✔ Evaluate perception, values, thought management, and conditioning. ✔ Help reduce the number of negative outbursts. ✔ Prevent emotional hijacking. ✔ Promote self-awareness, preventative strategies, social skills, and personal development. Once you start the program there will be an facilitator to help guide you through out the course and provide detail instructions during the course to complete assignments along the way. This course was designed to help you learn the tools needed to manage and control your response to anger. However, it is primarily up to you to make decision on how you apply these tools to improve your life. There will be a test at the end of the course and you must pass with a grade of 70 or greater to receive the certificate of completion. Don't worry about not passing because our course is designed to help you be successful in passing the course. You can take the class at your own pace provided up to 5 days to complete the course and able to pause take breaks and start again when ready to begin. More importantly, upon the completion of the course and with a passing score you will receive a certificate to verify meeting court mandated anger management class.
